THIRD-PARTY RISKS
COMPULSORY INSURANCE MEMBER SUGGESTS LAW (THE SUN’S Parliamentary Reporter.) WELLINGTON, Saturday. Legislation providing for compulsory third-party insurance is considered desirable by the Hon. D. Buddo, member for Kaiapoi, who asked the Prime Minister, the Rt. Hon. J. G. Coates, in the House of Representatives to-day, whether, in view of the increasing number of motor-cars in the Dominion, and the frequency of accidents, he will favourably consider introducing such legislation. Mr. Coates said that he would have been able to give a considered reply had Mr. Buddo given him notice of the question. However, he would consider the suggestion.
