SPORTS DANCE

EAST TAMAKI FUNCTION A very successful and enjoyable dance was held in the East Tamaki Public Hall on Friday night, under the auspices of the East Tamaki Amateur Sports Club. A good attendance of friends and supporters of the club gathered, and spent a very pleasant evening, dancing to the strains of tho Frolic Orchestra under the leadership of Mrs. S. Brookte, whose efforts met with the unanimous approval of all. Mr. A. Baird ably fulfilled the duties of M.C. A dainty supper was served by the women members of the committee. A Monte Carlo waltz competition, held during the evening, was won by Miss Black and Mr. Ray Cryer.
