BUILDING SOCIETY
MEETING AT TAURANGA The annual meeting of the Tauranga Co-operative Building Society was held on Thursday evening when the directors’ report and balance sheet were submitted. This disclosed a very successful year’s working. The chairman congratulated the shareholders and remarked that 19 appropriations had been made amounting to £8,300. The year’s operations showed a credit of £65. Messrs. A. Dagley and IT. H. Clemson were elected to fill the vacancies on the directorate caused by the retiring directors. An appropriation by ballot of £SOO was won by Mr. W. Harvie. At a meeting of directors after the general meeting, Mr. A. C. Robbins was re-elected chairman.
