HOLY TRINITY FAIR

CONTINUED SUCCESS The Holy Trinity Parish Fair continued its successful career on Saturday afternoon and evening. Crowds thronged the hall at both sessions. The stalls were well patronised, and the committee, under the leadership of Mrs. A. Murdoch, is very hopeful that the takings will reach the required amount. During the afternoon seasion, a fanev dress parade was held, and the march round the stalls presented a very gay spectacle. Mrs. F. McDell was awarded the first prize in the adults’ section, and Peggy Todd and Sybil Walker the prizes in the junior class, with Moria Moreton highly commended. In the evening a very enjoyable musical programme of vocal solos and chorus and fancy dancing was rendered by the Panmure Butterfly Troupe and their efforts were very well received.
