MONS VETERANS

FIRST REUNION TO-NIGHT About 30 men who took part in the famous retreat from Mons in the first months of the Great War will “swap” stories at a dinner to be held in the Cabin Tea Rooms, Upper Symonds Street, at 8.30 this evening. It will be the first official reunion of the Mons Veterans’ Association in Auckland. The anxious days of 1914 will be recalled and a tribute paid to the memory of absent comrades.
