FORESTERS’, ONEHUNGA

BIG DOUBLE BILL What happens to a poor young man who wishes for a car and inherits a taxi-cab, is the theme of “The Timid Terror,” George O’Hara’s latest starring vehicle for F. 8.0., which is coming to the Foresters’ Hall, Onehunga, to-night. George’s role is that of an impoverished youth who has but one desire: to own an automobile in order to impress the lady of his heart. He suddenly and unexpectedly acquires one through the donation of a friend, but to make the mirth complete, the gift proves to be a taxi. The gay comedy finally winds up in a thrilling climax, after which there is time for the romance to solve its all-important problem. The girl’s part is played with charm by Doris Hill, while others in the cast are Rex Lease, Edith Yorke, George Nichols and Dot Farley. “The Girl of Gold”’ will also be screened to-night.
