He was presented with a handsome tea and coffee set. Mr. Sidey referred to the attempts ' made by him in previous years to se- ; cure the passage of the Bill. He expressed the opinion that such difficulties as might be found to exist would * not be insurmountable, and that what- ' ever disadvantages there might be in ; the legislation would be . far outweighed by its advantages for the great majority of the people of the country.
