Rote the well-known athlete, after a brief examination to-day, decided, with o r.* exception, to recommend his discharge from bankruptcy, as soon as he sees fit to apply for it. Rose said that he had no capital when he commenced farming three years ago. When he left New Zealand to compete in athletic events in England and on the Continent he owed £ 400, bein'--£IOO on overdraft, £IOO to Mr. A. M. Sansom and £2OO to Mr. E. J. Ro:-('.
