PUKEKOHE WOMAN ROBS THE CREAM CAN
ADMITTED TO PROBATION (Frowi Our Own Correspondent) PUKEKOHE, Te-da>;._ A married woman named Margaret Newman, appeared in the Pukekohe Court to-day charged with the theft of nine and a-half pounds of cream over a- period of a fortnight. She pleaded guilty and other charges were withdrawn by the police. It was explained that accused had a cream-carting contract when the offences were committed. Her husband, who had been in the employ of the New Zealand Co-operative Dairy Company for the past 25 years, had been dismissed. M.r.- J. G. Hewitt. S.M.. admitted accused to probation for li months and she was ordered to pay the prosecution costs.
