WAITEMATA CLUB’S GALA HANDICAPS FOR TO-NIGHT There is nothing wrong with the } comprehensive programme drawn up ‘ for decision at the first carnival of the year to be given in the Tepid Baths to-night by the Amateur Swimming Club. The public may be assured of an enjoyable evening’s sport and a large attendance is expected. The programme includes events for tiny tots, juniors, intermediate and seniors, and all the best of Auckland’s swimmers will be seen in action. Interest should attach to the men’s 220 yards handicap, and the ladies’ 50 yards handicap, which will see excellent swimming.
