NORTHERN WAIROA CUP The butter-fat competition inaugurated by the Northern Wairoa A. and t\ Association, opened to any breed of cow, resulted as fbllows: —R. E. Clement's Duchess (Jersey), 721 b. butterfat in 30 days, 1; R. E. Clement’s Esme (Jersey), 69.1141 b., 2; F. Martinovich’s Katie (Shorthorn), 62.221 b., 3; M. H. Lethbridge’s Kate (Shorthorn), 59.958 lb., 4. There were 19 entries. Mr. Clement receives the Northern Wairoa Dairy Company’s silver cup.
