DARK HORSES
r PH ERE does not appear to have been any “phantom” horses working at Alexandra Park for the Otahuhu fixture, but if rummours are correct, one steed who worked at midnight prior to the recent Auckland meeting, had the advantage of a real trial, presumably on the grass, which proved advantageous. While some are working now just at dawn, there is no mention of any midnight revels for to-morrow.
