RACE-NIGHT REVEL
SAVOY CLUB BALLROOM To-night there will be special gala race-night revel at the Savoy Club Ballroom, Karangahape Road, which is now being run under new management. A rousing welcome home is to be given to Earn. Beacham. late of the Savoy, Dunedin. Dancing will continue from 8 to 12 p.m. As a special cabaret attraction, the management has arranged for the presentation of a solo -dance by Vonnie Grain, a well-known dancer, who has toured under J. C. Williamson and others. The Savoyans Jazz Orchestra will be in attendance again and will supply syncopated dance music as on last Saturday. Balloons and streamers will add a final touch to the evening’s entertainment and will ensure a happy revel.
