STARS WHO ASSIST OTHERS TO CLIMB
UNDISCOVERED TALENT
Movie folk who have tasted of the much coveted star dust are not only looking to their own laurels but are constantly making it possible for undiscovered talent to share the same honours. Mary Pickford, Norma Talmadge, Gloria Swanson, Charlie Chaplin and John Barrymore are directly responsible
for the rise of Zazu Pitts, Gilbert Roland, John Boles, Jackie Coogan and Bolores Costello. Samuel Goldwyn, in the ranks of producers, is given credit for the starring of Vilma Banky, Loris Moran and Belle Bennett. Miss Pickford recently induced her cousin, Isabelle
Sheridan, to make her screen debut in “My Best Girl.”
