GARDEN FETE
MATER HOSPITAL FUND A garden fete and sale of work, in aid of Mater Public Hospital building fund, will be held in the hospital grounds on the afternoon and evening of December 10.
The fair will be opened by the Right Rev. Dr. Cleary. A cooking demonstration will be staged by the Auckland Gas Company, and the usual stalls and sideshows will also be in evidence.
An orchestral and musical programme will be submitted, and a basket-ball competition will be held.
