SCHOOL PICNICS

TWO EARLY IN DECEMBER*

School picnic time is rapidly approaching. Already the Railway Hepartment is making preparation for the excursion trains which will carry cargoes of happy youngsters to and from the city. The first excursion of the season is set down for Hecember 3. when 550 children from the combined Pukemiro and Rotowaro Schools will come into Auckland from Glen Afton. On Hecember 13 the Cambridge Bistrict High School will visit Auckland. Arrangements are being made to carry 650 children and their parents.
