FRANCE AND SERBIA ITALY ASKED TO JOIN By Cable. — Pres* association.—Copyright LONDON, Wednesday. The Paris correspondent of the “Daily Mail” says the Foreign Minister. M. Briand, informed the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Chamber of Deputies the Government proposed to enter into negotiations to secure Italy’s adhesion to the Franco-Yugoslav Treaty. The Government had not been alarmed by the criticisms in the Italian newspapers concerning the treaty. It was convinced they did not represent the Italian Government’s real sentiments. —Sun. i
