NEW ORIENT STEAMER
SERVICE TO AUSTRALIA By Cable.—Press Association. — Copyright. LONDON, Thursday. The Orient Steam Navigation Company, Limited, received five tenders for a mail and passenger steamer for the Australian service. It has ac- ! cepted that of Vickers, Limited, the ; builders of the Orama, Otranto and Orford. The new vessel will be of a larger j tonnage than the three mentioned. It j will be of 22.000 tons, and will have a I speed of 20 knots. The steamer will j embody the latest developments in ! marine architecture.—A. and N.Z.i £uH:
