TE AWAMUTU CRICKETERS TO JOIN WAIPA ASSN.
(From Our Own Correspondent) TE AWAMUTU, Friday. At a special meeting of the Waipa Cricket Association, which has only recently been formed, it was decided to admit the Te Awamutu Club to tli© district competitions. Te Awamutu has previously been classed A, and -would therefore have to play outside teams. It was held by the club delegates that the inclusion of this club would improve play in the grade. It was also decided to seek a match for Waipa’s best eleven with the Arapuni Club, which is reported to be exceptionally strong.
