HIGH TIDES

LANCASHIRE COAST RENEWED ANXIETY British Wireless —Press Assn. — Copyright RUGBY, Thursday. Exceptionally high tides laßt night renewed anxiety for the safety of Fleetwood, in Lancashire, but the wind dropped when the tide was at its highest point and there was no repetition of the flooding which occurred a fortnight ago. Llandudno, on the North Wales coast, was less fortunate. The sea invaded the town and many streets, houses and shops were flooded. There were no casualties.—A. and N.Z.
