WAS RUDOLPH VALENTINO MURDERED?
DIAMOND DUST THEORY REJECTED WOMAN’S REVENGE Sensational stories that Rudolph Talent ino's death teas caused by a beautiful woman whose advances he rejected, are published in a local paper, "11 Secolostates a Milan cable to an Australian journal. The paper states that it is alleged that she administered to her victim diamond dust, which gradually perforates the walls of the stomach. An American detective’s wife is quoted as being responsible for discovering the crime. She says she saw Valentino at a Broadway night club spurn the advances of the girl, whose passion for the film star was well known. When the rejected girl left tire club she went arm-in-arm with a film magnate with whom Valentino had consistently refused to enter into contracts. The strangest part of the story is that in which the detective's wife says she saw the girl nod to two men who whispered “The Indian method is infallible.” j According to the theory advanced, • one can mix diamond dust in a drmk land thereby bring about a death v ithout the doctors being able to diagnose the correct cause.
