The man who was found dead in some scrub in Taita Gorge early on Sunday morning with his throat cut has been identified as Frederick William Wheeler, a farm hand, aged 37. A considerable sum of money was found in his pockets At the inquest, held this morning, evidence was given that deceased re- j turned to thej Dominion only six weeks ago from Australia.
