A WEALTH OF BLOOM

WAIKATO FLOWERS DISPLAY AT HAMILTON (From Our Own Correspondent) HAMILTON, To-day. The exhibition of flowers at the Hamilton Show yesterday was the best seen for a long time, the season having been most favourable for horticulturalists. The display in the rose and cut flower sections was very fine. There were four entries for the Country Cup, Rukuhia, Gordonton, Tamahere, and Matangi and Tauwhare combined. The last two proved the winners. Hamilton East won the Hamatana Cup from Hamilton West by the narrow margin of 114 to 113 i points. The champion bloom of tlie show went to Mr. F. Penn, Cambridge, with a “Mrs. Charles Lamplough” rose. Mr. Penn also won the Douglas Cup for the 12 best roses, while the open class was won by Mrs. H. Douglas.
