ONE-ROUND FIGHT

BRITISH BOXER BEATEN Bp Cable.—Press Association. — Copyright. NEW YORK. Saturday. In a boxing match this evening, Knute Hansen knocked out Phil Scott, the British heavy-weight champion, in the first round. One minute after the start of the contest Scott went down from a right cross to the head. He rose, only to be knocked down again, and this was repeated six times, after which he was carried to his corner. After his fourth fall Scott clutched his groin and attempted to claim a foul, but he was advised by the referee to get up. The spectators booed and jeered throughout the bout. —A. and N.Z.
