TE AWAMUTU GROUPS The secretary of the New Zealand Co-operative Herd-testing Asaodation has supplied the following figure* bearing on his association's activities for the month of September in-• Awamutu and neighbouring districts. The average for the 47,891 cows tested in September was 8091 b milk, wiU * test of 4.1, and 33.2 81b fat. A y®* r ago the corresponding averages from 38,364 cows, 8241 b milk, with a test of 3.9, and 32.871 b fat. All the figures given are for a full 39-da: period. Last season the average* were for normal cows, whereas tn« season the averages represent the production of all cows in milk.
