SETTLED OUT OF COURT
CLAIM FOR DAMAGES Through a settlement being reached, the claim for damages by a motorcyclist against a motorist was concluded before Mr. Justice Reed in the Supreme Court yesterday. Benjamin Archibald Millen (Mr. J. F. W. Dickson) proceeded against Lillie Wood and Charles Wood (Mr. G. P. Finlay), claiming £I,OOO general damages and £164 5s special damages. This was a sequel to a collision on June 7 last in Campbell Road, Onehunga. The jury visited the scene of the accident and it was afte_r that that a settlement was notified.
