WEDDING AT ST. MATTHEW’S

SCARBOROUGH—TUOHEY YY hen Alma, the second daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. Tuohey, of Grey Lynn, was married to Stanley, second son of Mrs. and the late Mr. \V. Scarborough of Auckland, at St. Matthew’s Church last evening, she wore a charming little frock of parchment satin with delicate rows of gauging trimming the shoulder. At the low waistline a spray of orange blosson* was caught lending a pretty finish to the frock. A long tulle veil was arranged from a chaplet of orange blossoms and fell in the form of a train. A beautiful shower bouquet of white roses, sweet peas and stock was carried, and was a charming accessory. Two maids attended the bride, the Misses Freda Lawrence and Pat Watson, and each wore a dainty little white georgette frock trimmed in effective fashion with trails of silver flowers. Petals of silver tissue deftly mingled with tulle to form their quaint head-dresses, and they carried fragrant bouquets of stocks, sweet peas and fern. A charming page was -little John Scally, in his suit of shimmering white satin, lightly trimmed with powder blue. Mr. W. Priestley acted as best man, and Mr. Watson was groomsman. The ceremony was performed by Canon Grant Cowen.
