SIXTY-SECOND YEAR DEPARTMENTS SHOW PROFITS The 62 nd annual meeting of the Auckland Sunday School Union, which was held last evening, marked the close of one of the most successful years the organisation has had. All departments have paid their way, so that a profit of £673 was available for transfer toward administrative expenses and the su mof £550 from the trading department to geenral funds. The election of officers resulted: President, the Rev. F. A. Thompson-vice-presidents, Miss Winstone, Mr. J. Tyler, Mr. F. E. Drew; hon. treasurer, Mr. W. A. Ivendon; hon. solicitor, Mr. W. D. M. Glaister; auditors, Messrs. T- E. Whitton and F. S. Rattley; executive committee, Messrs. S. E. Chappell, J. W. Court, G. Falla, T. E. Fraser, F. W. Gaze, W. S. Layland, T. H. Martyn, W. H. Newton, R. PI. Utting, Mrs. Pierce, Miss Haig and Miss D. Earle. The retiring chairman, Mr. W. D. M. Glaister, referred to the harmony that always prevailed among the executive during his two-year term of office and referred appreciatively to the services of the secretary, the Rev. L. B. Busfield.
