“THE GHOST TRAIN”

AN EXCELLENT THRILLER That a “thriller” play is popular among Auckland audiences is proved by the large numbers who have attended His Majesty’s Theatre. “The Ghost Train” is an excellent play of its kind. There are sufficient thrills to stir the imagination every few minutes, and enough gruesome happenings to make the women scream.

Just when the action of the play begins to drag (purposely) something exciting happens to send it leaping off again at a different angle. What actually happens at the end is not what everyone expects. Miss Betty Ross Clarke, Mr. Basil Radford, Mr. Mayne Lynton, Miss Laura Smithson and the other members of the cast play their parts with skill.
