A MORNING TEA
VICTORIA LEAGUE Miss J. Mowbray, president of the Victoria League, received a number of guests at a morning tea party given yesterday in honour of Miss A. L. Rees, president of the Victoria League in Gisborne. Miss Mowbray welcomed Miss Rees and mentioned that a number of her friends were present. Miss Rees is on her way home after attending the Victoria League conference recently concluded in New Plymouth. In replying, the guest of honour spoke of the inspiration received at the I conference and of the wonderful spirit ■ of unity existing between the Home league and the Dominion leagues. She was returning to Gisborne full of enthusiasm for the advancement of the league. Miss Mowbray also spoke of the inspiration received from the conference and the feeling of good fellowship existing between the delegates of the various branches. Miss Mowbray gave an interesting description of the Victoria League •rooms in Wanganui and of an At Home given there in her honour.
