FAREWELL TO MINISTER

REV. STANLEY MORRISON A largo assembly of members of the Mount Eden Congregational Church met last evening to bid farewell to their minister, the Rev. Stanley Morrison, who has resigned the charge to return to America. In addition there were present representatives of other churches. Mr. J. F. Ewen presided. Mr. Morrison’s good work for the district during the few years he had been in charge was referred to by several speakers. The church had made considerable progress in his time. Members of the congregation presented Mr. Morrison with a cheque. Mr. Morrison will leave Wellington on November 8 for the United States.
