SPECIAL SUNDAY SCHOOL SERVICES

63RD ANNIVERSARY Bast Sunday, the 63rd anniversary of the Newton Congregational Sunday School, was celebrated by largely-at-tended special services. The Rev. L. B. Busfield, general secretary to the Auckland Sunday School Union, was the preacher in the morning and in the afternoon the Rev. P. A. Thompson, vice-president, conducted the service. The evening service was taken by the Rev. George Heighway, dean of the Congregational Union College. An augmented choir under Mr. J. Bouskill rendered special hymns. At. St. Enoch’s Presbyterian Church, Morningside, on Sunday, special Sunday School anniversary services were held. The Rev. D. Morrison-Suther-land, of Mount Albert, was the preacher in the morning and the Rev. McDonald Aspland, of Knox Church, Parnell, officiated in the afternoon. In the evening the Rev. P. J. Wainwright, the minister of the charge, conducted the service.
