SMOKERS V NON-SMOKERS PAFATOETOE MATCH SMOKERS WIN ON AGGREGATE (From Our Oxen Correspondent.) PAPATOETOE, To-day. A very enjoyable afternoon’s sport was held on the Papatoetoe Bowling Club’s green on Saturday, when a match was played between the smoking and non-smoking members of the club, just on sixty members participating, and under ideal weather conditions everybody enjoyed the day. Following are the results of the day’s play, smokers’ names first: Bryett, C. Ritchie, Hosking, Franklin, 33 v. Daisley, Frost, Waters, A. Brown, O’Loughlin, Wells, Lucena, Hall, 20 v. Whyte, Wakelin, S. McCullough, Civil, 17; Gane, Gillard, Buckton, Rawnsley, 22 v. H. Bryant, Snelling, J. Bryant, Cowling, 23; Booth, Wyllie, Thomas, Wilson, IS v. Runciman, Foster, Watson, Bygrave, 19; McConkey, Dawson, Tidmarsh, Mclvor, 25 v. R. McCullough, Trimble, Galloway, Roseveare, 12; Ernest, Nettlingham, Nesbitt, Balderson, 15 v. Wills, Thorne, Cutforth, Smytheman, 20; MoCallum, Moe, DeAth, Wilcox, 10 v. Gubb, A. Ritchie, Crawford, W. Brown, 29. Result: 31 games each; aggregate, smokers, 143 points; non-smokers, 12S.
