STREET COLLISION

MOTOR-CARS DAMAGED ACCIDENT IN QUEEN STREET Two cars were damaged in a collision at the corner of Queen Street and Victoria Street early this afternoon. The cars, a Red Top taxi and a small privately-owned two-seater, met on the tramline, and locked together. The taxi’s running-board was smashed, and the other car had a guard and wheel badly crumpled. Upgoing trams were delayed until the cars could be lifted apart.
