“’FRISCO SALLY LEVY” “Frisco Sally Levy,” Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer’s new picture, featuring the vivacious Sally O'Neil, which is now being shown at the Edendale Cinema, is a brilliant comedy romance of family life in a big city. Its scenes are laid in San Francisco. “Sally” is the storm-centre of a Jewish-Irish home —her father being Jewish and her mother Irish. Two suitors appear for “Sally’s” hand, one a wealthy Jewish broker and the other an Irish traffic policeman. After thrilling intrigue, comedy, pathos and romance. the family solves its problem. Directed by William Beaudine. and portrayed by an unusually brilliant cast, including Charles Delaney, Roy D'Arov, Kate Price and Tenen Holtz, “Frisco Sally Levy” is a delightfully entertaining picture. “The Heart of Salome,’* starring Alma Rubens, will be screened in the game programme to-night.
