WAIUKU ODDFELLOWS

INSTALLATION CEREMONEY The officers of the Star of Waiuku Dodge were installed on Tuesday night by the District Deputy Grand Master, P.G. Bro. D. Pemberton, assisted by officers from the Star of Papakura Lodge. Besides visiting brothers from Papakura, a number of members of Excelsior Lodge, Pukekohe, were also present. After the ceremony the District Deputy Grand Master wished the newly-appointed officers a very successful term of office. It was decided to invite the Epsom Lodge to put on an initiation ceremony at Waiuku on November 28. During supper several impromptu speches were given by several brothers and a very enjoyable evening was terminated about midnight with the singing of “Auld Lang Syne.’ The officers installed were:— 7 Junior Past Grand. Bro. L. R. Robinson: Noble Grand, Bro. J. Fraser; ViceGrand, Bro. H. L. Wassell; Recording Secretary, Bro. G. E. Dickson; Financial Secretary, Bro. L. R. Blackler; Warden, Bro. F. R. Graves; Conductor, Bro. N. Harvey; Chaplain, Bro. J. H. Wright; R.S.N.G., Bro. C. J. Elmsley; L.S.N.G., Bro. J. McConnell; R.S.V.G, Bro. G. Arvidson; L.S.V.G., Bro. R. Grice; R.S.S., Bro. Marshall Grice; L.S.V.G., Bro. W. Buttimore; Inside Guardian, Bro H. Cox; Outside Guardian, Bro. M. Grice.
