The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Hamilton, report as follow: — At Te Awamutu sale on Thursday last we submitted a full yarding of cattle, sheep and pigs. Good competition ruled throughout for all stock, which sold at the following rates: —Fat steers made £9 5s to £10; light steers, £6 to £6 10s; prime young fat cows and heifers, £6 15s to £8; medium young fat cows and heifers, £5 12s 6d to £6 10s; plain fat cows, £3 10s to £4 8s; store cows, £2 10s to £3 ss; aged and rough store cows, £1 14s to £2 6s; two-year-old steers, £4 to £4 7s Gd; 15-months-old Shorthorn steers, £3 to £3 7s; small 15-months-old .Shorthorn steers, £2 7s to £2 10s; choice yearling Jersey heifers, £5 15s to £7; Jersey cross heifers, £4 7s 6d to £4 16s; small Jersey cross heifers, £2 10s to £3; dairy heifers, close to profit, £7 10s to £9 15s; others, £5 £6 10s: cows, up to £lO ss; bulls, £4 15s to £10; fat hoggets, £1 9s to £liOs 3d: good m.s. store, hoggets, £1 8s Id; small m.s. store hoggets, £1 Is; fat porkers, £2 2s to £2 7s; store porkers, £1 10s to £1 16s; slips, £1 3s to £1 7s; weaners, 10s to 16s.
