STEADY BUSINESS LULL IN MINING Business on 'Change continues in good tone and activity is recorded in most sections. The demand for gilt-edged securities, particularly 1933 and 1936 Government bonds and stocks, is somewhat easier. Banks continue firm, with Union of Australia rights and fractions active. The insurance section is quiet. Miscellaneous shares are quiet and mostly idle, though there is a healthy undertone in the market for most shares. Mining is recording a temporary lull.
