VAGRANT’S PROVISIONS STORY DISBELIEVED T-JARRY COLLINS, aged 53, had a good 'supply of foodstuffs yesterday. But the question was where did he get them. He was charged at the Police Court to-day with stealing sauce, herrings, condensed ..milk and jam valued at £1 Os 7d. Collins said the goods had been given to him, and he did not know they were stolen. “He is a vagrant with a formidable list,’* said Detective-Sergeant Kelly. Collins was sentenced to a month’s imprisonment.
