MASTER BAKERS DINE
LAST EVENING’S BANQUET Delegates to the Federated Master Bakers’ Association of New Zealand and Australia, and their women-folk, were the guests of the New Zealand Master Bakers’ and Pastrycooks’ Association at a banquet in the Scots Hall last evening. More than 300 guests were present. The president of the Dominion body, Mr. G. K. Mathieson, who was in the chair, .proposed .the loyal toast and later that of the federated asociation. Mr. R. Robbins, of Melbourne, replied, commenting on the friendly feeling between New Zealand and Australian bakers. Mr. H. R. Burton, of Sydney, proposed “The Government of New Zealand.’* Replying, Sir Thomas Mac-
