At the Sydney Stadium this evening in a boxing contest Lachie McDonald, of New Zealand (list 3£lb), defeated “Tiger'* Cline, of America (list 21b), on points in a 15-rounds match. The New Zealander took the lead early and maintained it throughout. He severely punished his opponent with heavy rights and effectively checked the American’s rushing tactics.—A. and N.Z.
