CARLTON CROQUET CLUB’S TOURNEY

Play in section A of the open doubles competition of the Carlton Croquet Club was continued yesterday. Following are the results: Mesdames Hamilton and Bird beat Mesdames Cahill and Perry; Mesdames Laurie and Wilson beat Mrs. Hilton and Miss Brown; Mesdames Harvey and Newell beat Mesdames Bird and Hammond; Mrs. Warin and Lieut.-Col-onel Savile beat Mrs. Coutts and Mrs. Croxford; Mesdames Harvey and Newell beat Mrs. Warin and Lieut. - Colonel Savile; Mesdames Tilton and Brown beat Mesdames Bird and Hamilton; Mesdames Laurie and Wilson beat Mrs. Warin and Lieut.-Colonel Savile. Play in the B section will commence to-day at 10.30 a.m. In the A section only one game will be played, between Mesdames Laurie and Wilson and Mesdames Harvey and Newell.
