St. Mary’s Cathedral was the scene oC a pretty little wedding yesterday afternoon, when Alma, the eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Goodisson, of Parnell, was married by Canon Pereival James to David, the second son of Mr. and Mrs. D. Knight, of Te Papapa. The bride was given away by her father, and Mr. John Knight, brother of the bridegroom, attended as best man. hand-painted georgette fashioned the frock worn by the bride, while a pretty touch of trimming was bestowed upon it by a lightly sequined design. A coronet of orange blossoms held a long veil of tulle in place. The bride carried a shower bouquet of rose blush and white flowers. Miss Ethel Goodisson, sister of the bride as bridesmaid, wore a frock of blush pink taffetas trimmed with silver embroidery, and a picture hat of pink crinoline straw. She carried a dainty bouquet of pink flowers.
