SCOTT—NEWMAN

A pretty wedding was solemnised at the Presbyterian Church, Morrinsville, yesterday afternoon, when Miss Constance Hilda Newman, youngest daughter of Mrs. J. Newman, and the late Mr. S. Newman, of Whangarei, was married to Mr. Allan Scott, youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. R. Scott, of Kurunui. The church had been prettily decorated by friends for the occasion. The Rev. Mr. Starnes performed the ceremony in the presence of a large number of friends, and Mrs. J. R. Wilson presided at the organ. The bride entered the church on the arm of her brother, Mr. I. L. Newman, of Maungateparu, wearing a delightful frock of cream satin and silver and a filmy tulle veil with a coronet of orangS blossoms. She carried a beautiful bouquet of roses and maiden hair fern. Miss Mabel Anderson, of Otorohanga. attended the bride, wearing a frock of

mauvg satin and georgette and carrying a bouquet of roses. Mr. Jack Fawcett, of Kurunui, carried out the duties of best man. At the conclusion of the ceremony a reception was held at the Lounge tearooms, over CO guests being present. Mr. and Mrs. Scott left by car for an extended honeymoon.
