On the tan Star D’Or cottered 12 furlongs in 2.40, the first mile in 1.45, and pulled up well. Trivalve went better than Gleamlight over a mile-in 1.432, and Winalot and Rawhetu ran seven easily in 1.38. Pilliewinkie, R. Lewis u£, did ten in 2.135. Bacchus ran a mile in evens, and Merry Mint and Beedos did a mile in 1.46, and went well. Statesman went best oyer a mile, taking 1.43. Pigeon Pie covered six in I.lßs, Nimbella ten in 2.145, the first five in I.SiOn the grass Bicolour went six in evens, Vaals six in 1.20, White Fang and Quan Tart six in 1.75, Valamita five in 1.16 i, and Tangible and Piastoon a mile on the tan in 1.46. CAULFIELD TRACK At Caulfield, on the grass, Murillo and Devonshire covered six in 1.17, and went well. Killara, with N. Percival up, ran seven in 1.305. Silvius (E. W. Simmons) went ten in 2.14, and went extra well. Tea Bell and Herilda covered aix in 1.18$; Lonicera and Marinero a mile in 1.45; Eridanus (W. Duncan), nine in 1.585; Fuji San, six in 1.18; and Mentellini did useful work. Tookarby and Imitator galloped ten in 2.11?;, the first mile in 1.45. Affirm (E. O’Sullvan) ran nine in 1.585, and Ragazzo beat Dalmally over six in I.lßs. Frilford did the best nine furlongs, 1.58.
