CROQUET AT ROTORUA
SEASON OPENED
The twentieth annual general meeting of the Rotorua Croquet Club was held on Thursday at the club's pavilion. The retiring president, Mrs. Mellsop, read the annual report and balance sheet, which were considered satisfactory. The membership stands at 40 and the credit balance at £3B 17a The election of officers resulted as follows: —President, Mrs. W. L. Richards; vice-presidents, Mesdaraes Mel!sop and Halkett: secretary. Miss Lewis; committee, Mesdames Bunyard. Worthington, La Trobe Hill, Contiß and W. Hill. It was decided to open the season on Wednesday, November 2, with progressive croquet, and that tea be arranged for at the kiosk.
