The first games in the Waihi cricket championship were finished on Saturduy. resulting in Teachers beating Maiaurd by 57 runs and Martha beating cit X by an innings and 14 runs. Teachers made 158 runs (Skiffington Y and Dutton 59), and Mataura 101 launders 24, Collins 17 and Leopold j! } - In the City versus Martha match. Gty scored 88 in the first innings and • y I in the second (Burchel 42 and 203 for one innings (Stamp 75 and 29).
