A Wreath of Orange Buds CARTER—ADAMS WEDDING When Gladys Stella, the second daughter of Mr. and Mrs. E. Adams, of Te Awamutu, was married last Saturday evening to Frank William, the second son of Mr. William Carter, of London, she chose a dainty little bridal gown of gleaming white satin effectively trimmed with silver lace, and beading* A filmy veil of tulle was arranged from a circlet of orange blossoms to fall in pretty folds over her gown, and she carried a delightful bouquet of white cyclamen and maidenhair fern. The wedding took place at St. Andrew’s Church, and was solemnised by the Rev. W. Butterworth. Mr. J. Berry presided at the organ. The bride was given away by her father, and the bridegroom was attended by Mr. Eric Onion as best man. Two maids attended the bride, the Misses Iris Adams and Mabel Carter, sisters of the bride and bridegroom respectively. Miss Adams wore an attractive frock of wistaria lace, inset with crepe de chine and a -yvhite crinoline picture hat, with pretty trimming to tone. Miss Carter’s frock was of hyacinth blue mariette, and with it she wore a hat of matching blue. Each maid carried a pretty bouquet to tone with her frock. After the ceremony a reception was held at the home of the bride’s parents, where a large number of guests were received. When the bride and groom left later the bride donned a smart tailleur of beech brown repp cloth with a close-fitting hat to match. \
