“ROOKIES” “Rookies,” now being shown at the frind Theatre, features the worlds greatest starring comedy team, Karl Dane and George K. Aithur. Arthur, of “The AVaning Sex” fame, as a comedy tC Tho entire company was forced to work with emergency pack-parachutes strapped about their shoulders, to be used in the event of the balloon burstin- or getting out of control. It was Miss Day's first experience in. the air —and her last, she hopes. The new picture was directed by Sam huud, and includes Frank Currier, Tom O'Brien. E. H. Calvert, Charles Sullivan. Lincoln Steadman and other favourites in the cast.

Tiffanv Productions, a selection of whose productions will be released by Alaster Pictures durin« the new season, has acouired four Jack London stories which are soon to be put into production.
