VALIDATING MEASURE

AUCKLAND HARBOUR BILL PASSED (THE SUN'S Parliameyitary Reporter.) WELLINGTON, Monday. The Auckland Harbour Board Empowering Bill was put through all stages and passed by the House of Representatives this evening. The member in charge of the Bill, Mr. W. E. Parry, Auckland Central, explained that the Bill was purely a validating measure. Certain agreements had been arrived at between the Public Works Department, Auckland City Council, Auckland Harbour Board and the Devonport BorouP Council, and the Bill sought to validate these. There was no opposition to it.
